Between The Lines: The Case Against Martin Shkreli

Dec. 21, 2015 (Mimesis Law) — David Miller, partner at Morgan Lewis, talks with Lee Pacchia about the recent indictment of former pharma CEO Martin Shkreli on securities fraud charges. Shkreli previously garnered widespread condemnation for hiking drug prices at Turing Pharmaceuticals earlier in the year. He was arrested last week by FBI agents for allegedly lying to investors in his hedge fund and misusing incoming funds to hide losses. Kaye Scholer partner Evan Greebel was also indicted for taking part in the scheme. Miller touches on the possibilites for the federal government ending up in control of the only existing copy of Wu-Tang’s latest album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, which Shkreli bought earlier in the year for $2 million.

Morgan Lewis is a client of Mimesis Law’s sister organization, Mimesis Labs.
