Fault Lines Links: Ray Tensing Murder Charge, Madness in Sparta
July 29, 2015 (Mimesis Law) — Sorry we’re late. We got snagged with in the GoDaddy cock-up.
- “This is the most asinine act I’ve ever seen a police officer make.” Cincinnati is on edge after University of Cincinnati cop Ray Tensing was charged with murder in the death of Sam Dubose.
- Three young men in Sparta, NJ were fired on by a State Trooper after they mistakenly knocked on his door, which is pretty insane. Things got taken to the next level when the NJ State Police dispatched a fullblown search involving helicopters, canine units and multiple vehicles. Don’t ring and run in NJ, I guess.
- Paul Patton, a homicide detective in Colorado Springs, has been arrested on “on suspicion of attempting to influence a public servant.”
Zachary Hammond’s family has retained a lawyer after the teenager was shot and killed by a police officer in Seneca, South Carolina.
Another police custody death. This time a mother of 8 in Mount Vernon, NY. Raynette Turner was arrested on a shoplifting charge.
