Fault Lines Links – No Charges For Wichita Cops In Shooting Of Unarmed John Paul Quintero

- Wichita district attorney announced that no charges would be filed against an officer who fatally shot John Paul Quintero last year. Unarmed Quintero was shot dead by a Wichita officer in January 2015 when he became “belligerent” and reached for his waistband. His father claims that Quintero had his hands up and his back to officers. His family have filed a $10 million federal lawsuit against the city of Wichita.
- A jury will continue deliberating the case of Philadelphia Officers Sean McKnight and Kevin Robinson charged with the assault of Najee Rivera. A security video shows the officers beating Rivera after he fled a traffic stop on his scooter, leaving him badly injured.
- A surveillance video of the San Francisco police shooting of Luis Gongora shows officers firing beanbag bullets and seven shots within 30 seconds of encountering Gongora with a knife. Officers claim they shot Gongora after he threatened them with a knife.
- Wisconsin police shot and killed a developmentally disabled woman who lunged at them with a hatchet on Friday.
